Managing Meal Times and Food Issues

Meal times are a regular opportunity to support children’s health and social skills, however they can also become times of stress, tension and frustration. Sensory issues, picky eating and difficulties with sitting still, as well as fine motor difficulties can all contribute to problems at meal times. An Occupational Therapy assessment, sometimes including a home visit, can help identify the difficulties and help you work towards the meal times you hope for.
